Collection

Rex Brasher left behind an immense and inspiring body of work which has, tragically, remained out of the public eye since his death. We are working to change that!

A core tenet of our mission is to (a) ensure that all of Rex’s work is preserved in archival-quality conditions and (b) digitize our entire collection and share it online for everyone to enjoy for free.

Rex dedicated his life to creating a “standard reference” of American birds and trees for “students and all interested.” He was proud of his work and eager to share it broadly, and in the spirit of Rex, we continue to pioneer and publish.

Most of the work in our collection was gifted to us by the Brasher family, friends and neighbors who knew Rex, and fans like you! Please consider a donation to support our efforts, and check back often as we continue to digitize and share work from our archive.
