Rex Brasher left behind an immense and inspiring body of work which has, frustratingly, remained out of the public eye since his death. We are working to change that.
Rex dedicated his life to creating a “standard reference [of American birds and trees] for students and all interested.” He was proud of his work and eager to share it broadly, and in the spirit of Rex, we continue to pioneer and publish.
While we are working to preserve all of Rex's work in museum-quality conditions, we are simultaneously working to catalog, photograph, scan, and publish his entire collection online.
The index below represents our efforts to catalog and share Rex's work. Much of the work in our collection was gifted to us by the Brasher family, friends and neighbors who knew Rex, and fans like you! Please consider a donation to support our efforts, and check back often as we continue to digitize and share work from our archive.
