Arizona Junco

Junco phaeonotus palliatus

These are the aristocrats of the clan, walking daintily as an Ovenbird and more inclined to forest edges than other Juncos. In fact their movements are so sedate and localities they frequent so secluded that an observer is apt to be not quite sure he is watching a Junco.
