Whitefront Dove

Leptotila fulviventris brachyptera

This is another member of the family whose proper habitat is south of our border. They are said to be common in parts of the Rio Grande Valley.

BREEDING

NEST: large for the genus. Located in bushes and built of sticks, grass and bark strips.

EGGS: Two. Cream or pale buff.
