“I first became aware of Rex Brasher when my mother purchased the four volume set of Rex's prints. When the State of Connecticut proposed building a museum in this area it was exciting, then so disappointing when the plans had to be canceled because of the war [World War II]. I was delighted when I was asked to join the board of the Rex Brasher Association. I long ago retired and have the time to devote to local organizations in fund raising activities.”
